About Undergraduate Preparatory Program Summer School

2022-2023 Academic Year Undergraduate Preparatory Program Summer School will be held face to face between July 3 and August 4, 2023, for a total of 150 hours. Summer School Calendar: Week 1: July 3-7 Week 2: July 10-14 Week 3: July 17-21 Week 4: July 24-28 Week 5: July 31-August 4 Classes will be held face to face from Monday to Thursday between 09:00-12:00 and 13:00-16:00, and on Friday between 09:00-12:00 and 14:00-17:00, 6 hours a day. Summer School Registration and Fees: Registrations will be made between June 11 and June 15, 2023 via a help ticket. You can create a help ticket and apply through http://yardim.itu.edu.tr/ > Yardım Bileti Oluştur > Yabancı Diller Yüksekokulu > Yaz Okulu Kayıt Başvurusu. Your name, surname, student number, your level (P1/P2/P3/P4) and your e-mail address must be written on the ticket. Summer school applications made through channels other than this will not be considered. It will be possible to make payments via Vakıfbank Branches / ATM / Interactive Banking from 10:00 on July 5, 2023 until 16:00 on July 6, 2023. Students who do not pay their fees cannot continue classes. Detailed information about the Undergraduate Preparatory Program Summer School payments will be announced. Registration for summer education is at the student's discretion. It is not a prerequisite for taking the proficiency exam in August!

8 June 2023 MAKE-UP PROFICIENCY EXAM on Elma Accounts Now

The make-up exam at 09:00 on 8 June 2023 has been assigned to the Elma accounts of those candidates who have applied for it. (If the make-up exam under “8 June 2023 – Proficiency Exam” does not appear on your Elma account, please create a help ticket as described in previous announcements. http://yardim.itu.edu.tr/ > Yabancı Diller Yüksekokulu > İngilizce Yeterlilik Sınavı > Sınavla İlgili Sorular). It is not obligatory to take the make-up exam. If students choose not to take the make-up exam, their score on 5 June 2023 will be valid. If they take the make-up exam, their score on 5 June 2023 will not be considered, and their score on 8 June 2023 will be valid.

About 8 June 2023 Make-Up Exam

Those who had technical problems during the exam on June 5, 2023 can apply for the make-up exam until June 6, 2023 11:30. If you take the make-up exam, your score on June 5, 2023 will not be considered, and your score on June 8, 2023 will be valid. When the make-up exam is assigned, an announcement will be made on www.ydy.itu.edu.tr . Application for Make-up Exam In case of issues, candidates can apply for the make-up exam via a help ticket (http://yardim.itu.edu.tr/ > Yardım Bileti Oluştur > Yabancı Diller Yüksekokulu > 08 Haziran 2023 Telafi Sınavı Başvurusu). Make sure to include your full name and Elma email address.

Assignment of English Proficiency Exam to Elma Accounts

The English Proficiency Exam that will take place on June 5, 2023 has been assigned to the candidates who have Elma accounts. The exam is available under the folder "Proficiency Exam - 05 June 2023". The exam will start at 09.00 and end at 11.30. Candidates who do not have an Elma account will not be able to take the exam. These candidates must immediately create an Elma account. When they do so, they may not be able to see the exam folder right after they log in to the platform. The exam will be assigned to them before the exam.
