« Impossible nest pas français. »

Napolyon

The French Language Department of the ITU School of Foreign Languages offers elective and credit-bearing French language courses to all faculty students, excluding those in preparatory classes, starting at a basic beginner level and aiming for an upper-intermediate level.

Our courses, which have a capacity of 20-25 students, aim to provide students with the French language skills they need in everyday life and in their professional careers.

Our aim in our courses, which consist of a total of 6 lessons, is to prepare students for the B1 level of the DELF exams organised within the framework of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Registrations are made through the Registrar’s Office.

FRA101 is a beginner-level course aimed at those with no prior knowledge of French. It is strongly recommended that those taking French for the first time choose this course.

The courses FRA102, 201, 202, 301 and 302 are not suitable for beginners. Students who believe they have prior knowledge of French and that enrolling in one of these courses would be appropriate are required to contact one of the instructors.
